THE EVENT BRIEF

The NI Health & Fitness Awards, conceived by Weir Events, stands as the premier event for the health and fitness industry across Northern Ireland. Renowned for their exceptional event planning, Sarah Weir and her team consistently deliver unique concepts and extraordinary entertainment each year.


For the 2023 awards, the team enlisted Media Lab to design an exclusive experience aimed at engaging attendees, generating compelling branded content, and encouraging social media sharing.

THE EVENT EXPEREINCE

Media Lab's creative team dedicated significant effort to incorporating cutting-edge technology and software, developing a green screen "The Catwalk Studio" to immerse attendees and produce unprecedented video content for instant social sharing at the event.


To enhance the glamour of the content creation, the team introduced a digital glam experience, capturing classic photos, videos, and gifs of attendees, shortlists, and winners throughout the evening.

THE RESULTS

The NI Health & Fitness Awards' "Catwalk Studio" engaged over 200 attendees at the event, while the digital glam experience entertained and captured images of 653 unique faces.

A total of 790 fully branded images and videos were created.

The event gallery allowed all attendees to access and instantly download their media creations at the event.

Over 150 consumer email addresses were captured in compliance with GDPR data capture regulations.

The campaign reached over 80,000 people on social media.

THE CONCEPT

BRANDING

The Media Lab team developed two custom-branded photo and video experiences that engaged and immersed guests throughout the evening of the NI Health & Fitness Awards.

SETUP

Over a three-month period, extensive preparation was conducted in collaboration with Weir Events to ensure the activation aligned with brand guidelines, included all sponsors, met all health and safety requirements for the Crown Plaza Belfast, and achieved its intended goals.


Media Lab installed a customised green screen "Catwalk Studio" featuring a green screen set and moving catwalk, complemented by a fully branded video kiosk.


The digital glam experience was hosted on an elegant kiosk, offering a fully branded start screen and options for branded photo, video, and GIF creation.

ONLINE SHARING

Both event photo and video activations were hosted by professional brand ambassadors who guided guests through the experience, created exceptional content, and encouraged social sharing.

CUSTOM GALLERY MIRCOSITE

The customised live event photo gallery encouraged event hosts and attendees to view and instantly share their content on social media channels during and after the event, providing further exposure.


Weir Events received a comprehensive event report and all content generated during the NI Health & Fitness Awards activations, enabling them to utilise it in their own marketing efforts post-event.
